Sophos and eSoft Partner to Provide Virus Scanning At Network Perimeter
Sophos Anti-Virus Technology Available to Users of InstaGate EX(tm) Internet Security Appliance
Wakefield, MA - January 9, 2001 - Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, announced that it has partnered with eSoft. eSoft is a provider of enhanced broadband solutions for small to medium enterprises and will deliver anti-virus protection from Sophos to eSoft's customers who use its InstaGate EX security appliance.
eSoft (NASDAQ: ESFT) will provide virus scanning powered by Sophos Anti-Virus to its customers on a subscription basis that includes unlimited virus updates. This will be the latest improvement to the eSoft line of several firewall, security and software applications known as SoftPaks(tm). SoftPaks are delivered with a single touch of a button from a desktop computer through eSoft's innovative SoftPak Director(tm).
