Edgar Allan Poe would love JavaScript malware. Inwardly obvious but outwardly arcane, JavaScript malware uses effectively impervious cryptographic tricks to make itself impenetrable on its own. To solve the malware you need to know not only the code, but also the exact circumstances in which that code was downloaded and run.

This talk will use a series of live demonstrations to show how modern JavaScript malware works, and to explain the latest techniques for dealing with this confoundedly diabolical malware in the Rue Morgue.
