Podcast: Security trends and predictions for 2008 Graham Cluley discusses the findings in the Sophos Security Threat Report 2008
IT security and control firm Sophos today announced the availability of a new podcast discussing the Sophos Security Threat Report 2008.
Sophos recently released its detailed report highlighting top malware and web threats, the latest trends in cybercrime and other topics such as which countries are relaying most spam, and whether cyberwarfare is a real threat.
In the podcast, Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, is interviewed by Carole Theriault about the latest report, and explains which method of infection is proving most popular amongst cybercriminals. Cluley also discusses how malware is no longer just a Microsoft problem - threats are presenting a risk on non-Microsoft platforms too, including Wi-Fi devices.
