Zero-day threats explored in Sophos podcast Fraser Howard and Carole Theriault discuss how to defend yourself against an unknown enemy

In the podcast, Sophos principal virus researcher Fraser Howard describes what zero-day threats are, addresses the controversy surrounding the disclosure of vulnerability information, and offers advice to users and administrators on how to defend against malicious attacks.
"Hackers can attack users by targeting unpatched vulnerabilities in your operating system and software applications. This is particularly dangerous when the software vendor has not yet released a patch against the problem," said Carole Theriault, host of the Sophos podcast.
