Sophos expert addresses IET Crime and Security conference

IET
Sophos's Graham Cluley will be presenting research at the IET conference

Sophos, a world leader in protecting businesses against computer threats, today announced that Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant and head of corporate communications, will be presenting at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Crime and Security conference in London on Wednesday 14 June.

Cluley will be presenting a paper examining the latest trends in malware, and the threats posed by hackers in their attempt to attack businesses, blackmail websites, and steal confidential information. The paper includes research from SophosLabs™, Sophos's global network of virus, spyware and spam analysis centers, identifying the top malware threats of the year.

"Organized cybercriminals are developing new methods to spread their malware, with the intention of stealing from innocent computer users," said Cluley. "Every IT manager needs to ensure they are up-to-speed on the latest developments in the malware world to reduce the risk of their company being the next victim."

Cluley has been working in the field of computer virus research since January 1992, and is a respected industry expert.
