Sophos and Qubux join forces to offer protection for Sun Cobalt server appliances
Lynnfield, MA - Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus solutions, and Qubux, a leading provider of server appliance solutions, have partnered to extend anti-virus protection in conjunction with Qubux's internet filtering solution for the Sun Cobalt line of server appliances.
The Sun Cobalt application enables diverse organizations to establish an internet presence and network communications through simple value-based servers. The Qubux Anti-Virus (QAV) Solution for Sun Cobalt is offered exclusively on Sun Cobalt platforms and is compatible with all operating system networks and popular browsers. QAV monitors for viruses at multiple entry points including: disks, programs, documents, network drives, CD ROMs, email, groupware, internet downloads and archive files.
With this partnership, Sophos's dependable virus detection technology will now be available to scan incoming and outgoing email as part of the fully featured internet filtering solution offered by Qubux, preloaded on either the RAQ or Qube or as an add-on.
