Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced that it has been selected by Domino's Pizza Group, the UK and Irish master franchisee of the world's leading pizza delivery company, to defend almost 240 stores against malicious code.

Sophos Anti-Virus will be protecting Domino's Pizza Group's network against more than 70,000 computer viruses, Trojans and worms. This deal forms part of a contract won by ISC Networks, one of the UK's largest value added resellers and Sophos channel partner.

"After rigorous testing, we found that Sophos offered the complete solution - an efficient product combined with excellent technical support," said Ian Foxley, IT Director at Domino's Pizza Group. "Our network holds a great deal of valuable data, all of which is vital to the day-to-day running of the business. It is essential that we protect this information - Sophos Anti-Virus is helping us to do that."

"As one of ISC's preferred partners on security projects, we were confident that Sophos's solution best suited Domino Pizza's needs," said Bruce Hallas, Security Business Development Manager. "Key considerations when recommending a security partner include quality of the product and support services - particularly the promptness of updates. ISC found Sophos Anti-Virus met all these requirements."

"In an increasingly connected world, security solutions must offer the highest levels of protection possible," said David Stanley, head of UK sales at Sophos Anti-Virus. "Not only are viruses capable of destroying critical data, but they can also compromise company credibility and confidentiality. We are delighted that Domino's Pizza has chosen Sophos Anti-Virus to negate that risk."
