If you troubleshoot a BSOD under Windows XP SP2 using Microsoft's Driver Verifier (verifier.exe), it may occur that the system apparently hangs when booting. How to solve this problem?
This behaviour has been observed in some cases after SafeGuard Easy was installed. It looks as though the system hangs and there are no hard disk activities. To solve this issue, simply wait until the boot process is completed. It can take as long as 15 minutes, before the boot process completes.
