When trying to clean-up items in Enterprise Console, the following error is displayed:
An internal error has occurred
Enterprise Console could not determine which error occurred.
Clicking on the 'Advanced...' button shows the following detailed error message:
An unknown exception was caught.

What to do
- Close Enterprise Console.
- Read this warning about editing the Windows registry
- Browse to
- If the
Sophos key does not exist, create it by right clicking on
Software and choose
New > Key.
- Edit the permissions on the Sophos key to ensure that Administrators and System have full control.
- Re-open Enterprise Console.
