What To Do
Depending on how many different filter drivers of 3rd party applications are installed, a lack of available stack size for the access to network resources can occur (like administrative shares e.g. c$ or the use of remote tools).
This issue can usually be solved by modifying the "IRPStackSize" of the machine.
- Open the registry key
- In the LANMANSERVER parameters, going up in steps of 3, increase the value of the parameter "IRPStackSize" from "15" (which is the default even if the key does not exist) to at least "21" .
