Even if you use a third party reporting tool like Splunk, Crystal or SQL Server Reporting Services, you can still access the same crucial security data in the Sophos reporting database.

Using Splunk?
Use our Reporting Interface to write data from our database to a Splunk log file. Just download and install our Sophos Reporting Interface and configure Splunk to use the reporting log. Then you can monitor threats right from that log with Splunk.
Using Crystal or some other third party tool?
If you are using other third party reporting tools, e.g. Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, all you need to do is download the Reporting Interface documentation and start configuring your reports. To download documentation, go to the the Sophos Documentation Page, and from the 'Select your product name' drop down, select 'Reporting Interface'. Use the Crystal Reports Creation Wizard to connect to our reporting database using our Reporting Interface. You can then create custom views of the data to fit your reporting needs.
