Vendor description Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Reader and Acrobat X (10.1.3) and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh. These updates address vulnerabilities in the software that could cause the application to crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
SophosLabs comments Several vulnerabilities are patched by Adobe for both the Windows and Mac PDF Reader and Acrobat presenting a large attack surface however as SophosLabs has not yet seen any samples exploiting these vulnerabilities we set a rating of High.
