W32/Brontok-V is a worm for the Windows platform.
When first run W32/Brontok-V copies itself to:

<User>\Local Settings\Application Data\lsass.exe
<User>\Local Settings\Application Data\services.exe
<User>\Local Settings\Application Data\smss.exe
<Windows>\BerasJatah.exe
<Windows>\ShellNew\sempalong.exe
The following registry entries are created to run W32/Brontok-V on startup:

The following registry entry is changed to run BerasJatah.exe on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Explorer.exe "<Windows>\BerasJatah.exe"
(the default value for this registry entry is "Explorer.exe" which causes the Microsoft file <Windows>\Explorer.exe to be run on startup).
