Troj/Shine-B is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
Troj/Shine-B changes the proxy settings of Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera such that the browser attempts to use a proxy server with no name, thus resulting in the browser being unable to browse the web. The Trojan also closes Explorer windows and reduces system performance.

Troj/Shine-B deletes the following registry entry:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\
ProxyOverride
The Trojan will also attempt to set the following registry entries:
