Troj/SecDl-A is a downloader Trojan for the Windows platform.
When run Troj/SecDl-A displays a message box with the following message:
'User: <Username>
PC: <CPU processor type>
SERIOUS SECURITY VULNERABILITY HAS BEEN FOUND!
Your PC is vulnerable to remote attackers via critical error in the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
This vulnerability can be used by Adware/Spyware software to display unsolicited advertising or even STOLE YOUR PERSONAL/PRIVATE DATA and transfer it to the third party. Its highly recommended to install all the latest security patches from Microsoft and installspecial Adware/Spyware removal tools for future protection.

The message displayed by the Trojan horse.
If the 'Yes' button is clicked, Troj/SecDl-A attempts to download data silently from a remote website.
If the 'No' button is clicked, Troj/SecDl-A will close and then periodically display the same message box repeatedly.
Troj/SecDl-A also creates the files <Windows>\dp.dll. This file may be deleted.
Troj/SecDl-A creates the following registry entry so that the Trojan is run during startup:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
