Troj/Maran-AW is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
Troj/Maran-AW includes functionality to download, install and run new software.
When Troj/Maran-AW is installed the following files are created:
<Windows>\svchost.exe - detected as Troj/Maran-AW.
<System>\delmeml.bat - may be safely deleted.
<System>\tj9viewer.dll - detected as Troj/Maran-AW.
The file <Windows>\svchost.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "ADIDown", with a display name of "Power Adapter" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ADIDown
