Troj/Dloadr-BME is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
Troj/Dloadr-BME includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run Troj/Dloadr-BME copies itself to <System>\ctfmona.exe and creates the following files:
<Temp>\.tt1.tmp.vbs
<System>\blackster.scr - harmless screensaver. Can be deleted.
<System>\ctfmonb.bmp - image file claiming that threats have been detected on the computer. Can be deleted.
The following registry entry is created to run ctfmona.exe on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
ctfmona
<System>\ctfmona.exe
The following registry entry is changed to run blackster.scr on startup:
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop
SCRNSAVE.EXE
<System>\blackster.scr
