What To Do
To determine which file is causing SAV32cli to fail, use the command below. This command displays all files as they are scanned them and lists them in
- In the folder containing sav32cli.exe (such as %programfiles%\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\), run a command prompt.
sav32cli.exe -all -archive -dn -ns -p=C:\FileError.txt
- When the scan fails, open C:\FileError.txt. The last file listed is the problem file. If the file is temporary, attempt to remove it and then run another scan. If it is not a temporary file, send it to Sophos Labs to identify it.
