On computers running Windows Vista, when you run savscan on a symlink, any viruses detected under the symlink are detected and reported to the console using their symlink name. This can lead to multiple alerts being generated in the console for files under different paths which are actually the same file.

If the actual file is also scanned, then this file is also reported to the console.
