After restarting the server running PureMessage for Exchange, the PureMessage activity monitor on the SMTP tab stopped updating.
Pressing 'Start' does not resolve the issue and email are not received since the server restart.

Particular operating systems related to this article - if any. Delete this section rather than putting 'Windows All' etc.
The PureMessage services fails to start correctly (or in the right order) after the last reboot.
What To Do
It has been observed that restarting just the Sophos PureMessage Running Object Table (ROT) service has corrected the problem. However all the PureMessage related services may need to be restarted.
If the problem continues after the next reboot set all of the Sophos PureMessage services to delayed start up.
