What To Do

If the faulting module name is OLE32.dll

This can be resolved by re-registering the OLE32.dll as follows:

  1. Select 'Start' | 'Run'
  2. In the Run prompt type: regsvr32 OLE32.dll
  3. Press enter, you should see a message stating that this action was successful
  4. Reboot the endpoint

If the faulting module name is NLAapi.dll on a Citrix server

Citrix uses a number of API code hooks which can disrupt some applications, SavProxy.exe should be excluded from these hooks to avoid application errors.

  1. Follow these instructions for Citrix servers, article CTX107825.
  2. Set ExcludedImageNames to include SavProxy.exe.
