Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux: popup alert is not displayed on rhel6x86-desktop server

Issue
On the rhel6x86-desktop server, no desktop popup alert is displayed.

This issue arises because libXpm is not installed by default on a 'Desktop' RHEL install.

What to do

In order for the desktop popup to be displayed, you must install libXpm.
