Issue
When attempting to open Enterprise Console or Sophos Control Center on a remote computer using a role-based admin account, you get the following error message:
User needs to be a member of the Sophos Console Administrators group on machine
Applies to
Enterprise Console, version 4.0 and above
Sophos Control Center, version 4.0 and above
What to do
- Ensure that the account used for role-based administration is a member of the Sophos Console Administrators group.
- Ensure that the same account is a member of the Distributed COM Users group as well.
