Question
What is "Silent mode" and where can it be configured?

Answer
Silent mode is a new GPO setting in SafeGuard LAN Crypt. It defines whether an error message will be shown if no SGLC Profile was found. Other profile error messages are not affected by this setting.

Key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Utimaco\SGLANCrypt\LCShellx]
Name SilentModeEnabled
Type REG_DWORD
Value
0 -> Error message will be shown if SGLC Profile was not found
1 -> No error message will be shown if SGLC Profile was not found (Default value)
Example: " SilentModeEnabled "=dword:00000000
