How can the WOL (Wake On LAN) message box be customized?

Answer

The WOL message box (“Windows Logon is not allowed ... “) can be adjusted centrally by standard Windows mechanisms (Registry Keys).




Entering Restart Button

Users are allowed to restart the workstation if this Registry Key [DWORD] is set to “0”:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Utimaco
SGEasy
WOLDisableShutdown


Changing Message Text

A new message box text can be entered under the following Registry Key [STRING]:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software
Utimaco
SGEasy
WOLNotice
