Answer

While trying to uninstall Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption, following error message appears: "SDE1605: The logon toSophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption was successful, but you don't have sufficient rights to uninstall the product". The error message also appears when trying to uninstall Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption with a Windows user that has administrative rights.

Please check the user rights of the Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption user that was logged on during the uninstallation process. To remove the program, he needs at least the Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption right "Uninstall" (see screnshot below).

The uninstallation of Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption is only possible with a valid Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption account that has got the right to uninstall the program.
The right "Uninstall" can be assigned to any user. The SYSTEM account always got the right to uninstall Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption.
