What To Do

In some cases, it is necessary to uninstall the Configuration Protection connector, and then the Configuration Protection client before you can remove the R2 patch. The following example explains how to do this via msiexec command line, and is valid for the SafeGuard Enterprise 6.0.1.31 client.

  1. Remove the SGN CP connector using the command:

    msiexec /i {957BE63D-2202-4618-BA64-12115A1F8C93} REMOVE=ConfigurationProtection /norestart /qn

  2. Uninstall the SGN CP client using the command:

    msiexec /x {7F057C4D-1E63-44D8-9FC0-26144091E858}

    Note: This removes the the whole SGN Configuration Protection client which includes the patch.
