Information on the SafeGuard registry value 'KnownGina'

The information in this article is intended for Administrators who are familiar with GINA, and who want to know how the registry key "KnownGina" is configured. This key is used for cascading 3rd party applications with SafeGuard Enterprise / SGGina. 

You may need to use this information if you suspect there is a conflict with a third-party GINA.

Value type: dword

0   Ask at every system start. This is the default.
1   Accept the dll name set in Originalgina
2   Ignore the value set in Originalgina and use always msgina.dll
