Question

During the installation of SafeGuard Easy, the error SGE 1061 is displayed. The SafeGuard Easy installation logfile shows the same error. How can this issue be solved?

Answer

If this error occurs, please use the diskmanager to verify the installed hard disks. Alternatively, you can open the command line and type the command "diskpart", press enter and then type "list volume" and press enter again (screenshot 2)

Check whether the operating system you are currently running is installed on disk 0 or on disk1. SafeGuard Easy can only be installed if the operating system you are currently running is installed on disk 0.

If you have more than one hard disk installed, consider changing the order of IDE cables connected to the hard disk drives.
