How to configure the SafeGuard Advanced Security Base module, to active the automatic user logoff after the smartcard or eToken was pulled?
The following steps are necessary to activate the automatic user logoff after the smartcard or eToken was pulled.
This setting can be configured over a GPO that will be applied to the client machine.
Open the GPO which will be deploy the SGAS Computer Settings.
Import the SafeGuard Advance Security ADM file which you will find under the following Path.
%ProgramFiles%\Utimaco\ADM\SGuard.adm (for english)
%ProgramFiles%\Utimaco\ADM\SGuard_0407.adm (for german)
After having imported the ADM into the GPO for SafeGuard Advanced Security you have to check the following option:
Mark the "Administrative templates" folder, select the "View" menu then "Filtering" and remove the cross in front of "Only show policy settings that can be fully managed" as seen in the following screenshot.
Then open the "Token removal settings" as seen in the following screenshot.
Then set the “Delay Action” on “A) Logoff user” and the setting “Delay (in seconds)” on “1” as seen in the following screenshot.
Then deploy this GPO to the SafeGuard Advanced Security Client. After the GPO was applied to the Client, this setting will be active.
