Users cannot open files on the filer

With Sophos Anti-Virus for NetApp Storage Systems, users will be unable to open any files on the NetApp filer if there is no anti-virus server registered with the filer.

What to do

To see a list of the anti-virus servers registered with a filer, at the command prompt on the filer, type

vscan scanners

If none are present, refer to your ONTAP documentation for instructions on how to register an anti-virus server.
