Support during Yosemite beta
While Yosemite is currently available only in pre-release form, we cannot offer the same support or commitment to correct operation of our software. When will Yosemite be fully supported?
We are committed to fully supporting Yosemite with our Mac products the same day as it is released for general availability by Apple, to the best of our ability. Late-breaking changes in the final builds of Yosemite may introduce problems that prevent us from full support immediately.
Known issues for Yosemite and Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac
We have been testing the Yosemite public beta with Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac version 9.1.5 and 9.2.0 (beta for Sophos Cloud), and can report the following:
- The version of Mac OS X reported to Sophos Enterprise Console is shown as 10.9 instead of 10.10.
- The Sophos shield menu bar icon is not sensitive to Dark Mode and is difficult to see.
Both issues are scheduled to be resolved prior to general availability of Mac OS X Yosemite.
