What To Do
Files that have been encrypted using a so called "local key", a key which has a own passphrase, can be opened using the SGPortable.exe tool which is part of SafeGuard Data Exchange and Cloud Storage but can also be downloaded here.
Note: It is not possible to decrypt files which have been encrypted with a group or structure key.
- Download the required tool - SGPortable.exe here
- Unzip the files to the folder that contains the files you want to decrypt
- Run SGPortable.exe
- Right-click the file and chose Decrypt... (see screenshot)
- Enter the passphrase of the key
