SafeGuard Enterprise Device Encryption module does not support installations on Dynamic and GPT disks.
What To Do
To verify if the machine has been setup with GPT or Dynamic disks,
- open an administrative command prompt on the affected client
- start the "DISKPART" utility
- run the "LIST DISK" command
If you see an " * " beneath "Gpt", the machine has to be re-installed using MBR layout instead of GPT layout, before SafeGuard Enterprise Device Encryption module can be installed.
If you see an " * " beneath "Dyn", the disk has to be converted to a basic disk first, before SafeGuard Enterprise Device Encryption module can be installed.
