The Sophos Update Manager (SUM) trace logs shows a checksum error. An extract of the error from the logs is shown below.

What To Do
You have two choices:
- Let SUM fix itself. If it is a small number of corruptions then it might be easier to let SUM sort itself out in the next update cycle.
- Delete the contents (not the folder) of the Warehouse and force an update. SUM will now download ALL files again. For the possible locations of the Warehouse folder see article 63184.
Note: If something external is causing files to continuously become corrupted then this needs to be looked into separately. Check the log for the problematic file and use article 111843 to see if the file can be manually downloaded in a web browser (check the file size on a computer not passing through your perimeter network security, i.e., firewall or proxy)
