Please contact Sophos support or your Sales representative for question on supported / not supported operating systems.

Important: OS upgrades (e.g. from Mac OS X 10.7 to Mac OS X 10.8) are not supported. To upgrade the operating system you need to uninstall Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption for Mac first. This step includes a final decryption of encrypted partitions. After the successful upgrade you need to install Sophos SafeGuard Disk Encryption for Mac and encrypt the partitions again.

 

Note:

If you like to use SafeGuard Disk Encryption for Mac version 6.10 you must uninstall any older SafeGuard Disk Encryption for Mac version first.
