How to reset the password or passcode on a Sophos Mobile Control managed device

Known to apply to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s)

Sophos Mobile Control 2.0

What To Do

 

  1. Open the Sophos Mobile Control Self Service Web Portal (either Sophos Mobile Control HTTP or Sophos Mobile Control HTTPs desktop links)
  2. Upon successful authentication | Open Inventory|Devices |
  3. Click the spyglass icon next to the affected device | Select Unlock
This will send the command to remove the current pass-code and prompt the user to input a new one.
