Error 0x2028000c Scan Aborted

Issue

The following error is shown in the Enterprise Console:

Scan 'Scan my computer' aborted. [0x2028000c]

The error code may also be shortened to 2028000c.  Example:

Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+

Cause

A scheduled scan or on-demand 'Full System Scan...' (triggered from the Enterprise Console) is canceled by an end user (who is a 'Sophos Administrator).

What To Do

  1. Right-click computer(s) or computer group, and select 'Resolve Alerts and Errors'.  Example:



  2. Move to the 'Errors' tab, select the error(s) and click 'Acknowledge'.  Example:
