Sophos Update Manager reports 'Threat delivery failed' or 'Threat detection update failed' in Update Managers within your Sophos Console.

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.
What To Do
There are multiple connections to the SophosUpdate share using more than one username.
- Open a command prompt by clicking Start, then Run, type in:
CMD , and click OK.
- Type this command, followed by Enter to delete any persistent connections to the SophosUpdate share:
net use /delete \\<computer>\SophosUpdate
