Step 1: Getting your Sophos Credentials
Ensure you have your Sophos credentials to hand, if you require a copy of your Sophos License Schedule email customerservice@sophos.com from a company email account, including your name and company contact details.
Step 2: Create a MySophos account
Create a MySophos account by visiting this web page and filling in your details https://secure2.sophos.com/en-us/mysophos/registration.aspx
Step 3: Check your email
In order to protect your security, Sophos will send you an email containing a link to activate your account. An example email reply is shown below:
From: Sophos (customerservice@sophos.com)
Please follow the link in the email to activate your account.
Please confirm your MySophos registration.
You, or someone on your behalf, has supplied this email address to us in order to set up a MySophos account.
To activate your MySophos account, please follow this link:

Click the link in the email to activate your MySophos account. If activation is successful the following message is displayed:
Your MySophos Account was created.
You're almost there! Activate your MySophos account.
Thank you for registering! An email containing an activation link has been sent to your email address.

Step 4: Log in to the Sophos website with your MySophos account
Visit the following website and enter your MySophos username and password:
Step 5: Link your Sophos username and password to your MySophos account
When you log into your MySophos account, you will be prompted for the license credentials as supplied with your product license.

You can find your product license username and password as follows:

Evaluators: on the email you received when you registered for the 30-day trial.

New/renewed customers: on your Sophos License Schedule.

Once you have added the credentials you will now have be able to download your licensed products from the Product Downloads and Updates page.
Alternatively, you can link your credentials by logging in to: https://secure.sophos.com/mysophos and then selecting the 'Manage your account' link from the top left corner of the web page.
MySophos - Frequently Asked Questions
- After entering my email address I receive the error:
This email address has already been registered
Cause: Your email address is already registered with us.
Solution: Use the forgotten password link to reset your password and complete the procedure: https://secure.sophos.com/mysophos/newpassword/
- After logging in I see the message: "Please link your MySophos account to your Sophos license. Your MySophos account is not yet linked to a set of trial or licensed product credentials"
Cause: You have not yet linked your license credentials to your MySophos account
Solution: See step 5 above.
- I have lost my license credentials (username and password) so I cannot link them to MySophos account.
Cause: N/A
Solution: Email customer services at customerservice@sophos.com
- I have not received my activation email.
Cause 1: The activation email has been filtered into you Junk/Spam folder
Solution: If you have not received an email check your Junk/Spam folder.
Cause 2: The activation email can take between 1-2 hours to be processed and sent
Solution: Email customer services at customerservice@sophos.com if an email is not received after this time.
- After entering my username and password the page loops and am prompted to re-enter them
Cause: You web browser cache has incorrectly saved part of the registration process
Solution: Clear your web browser's cache. Close and reopen your web browser.
