What will happen if there is a power interruption during the initial encryption or the final decryption of the hard disk?

Nothing really. The decryption/encryption process will simply continue at the same sector where it was interrupted. So, you do not loose any data caused by an interrupted decryption/encryption process.

Note: The initial encryption of hot-pluggable external HDDs must NOT be interrupted!
