Can you delete an encrypted file, without a key, from a PC where SafeGuard LAN Crypt client is installed?

If your encryption profile is loaded, you are able to delete any encrypted file for which you own the key.

The key which is used to encrypt a file must be available in the active profile before you can permanently delete the file. If the key is not available, an error message is displayed. You cannot remove the files from the system.

Deleting files moves them to the Windows Recycle Bin. To provide the highest level of security, files encrypted by SafeGuard LAN Crypt remain encrypted in the Recycle Bin.
