What To Do

SafeGuard Device Encryption uses the default setting which was configured for the Microsoft Windows default user.
These settings are stored within the following registration keys, and therefore can be changed via reg scripts.

Keyboard layout: HK_USERS\.DEFAULT\Keyboard Layout\Preload
Unicode / language: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Codepage and Language
                            : HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Language

NOTE:

    • Since SafeGuard Enterprise 5.40.0.152 it is possible to change the keyboard layout if the Device Encryption module is already installed.
