Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP

Server OS

Does SafeGuard Easy support drive letters that were mounted with the "subst.exe" command ?

Yes, you can use the "subst.exe" command in combination with SafeGuard Easy, but when installing SafeGuard Easy, such a drive must not be mounted.

This means before installing SafeGuard Easy, please disconnect/unmount all the drives that where mounted using the command "subst.exe".
Then install SafeGuard Easy and wait until all defined hard drives are encrypted.
Now it is possible to map the drives, using the "subst.exe" command again.
