What does SGE Error 1121"Unknown environment variable defined." mean? How can I solve the problem?

An error occurred while reading an environment variable from the registry. The size of the entry could not be determined.

During SafeGuard Easy setup the environment variable path is extended with the path of SafeGuard Easy installation folder. The already existing value of environment variable “PATH” is read from the Registry [SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment].

Most frequent reasons for this error are either missing of this value in the registry or excess of the maximum size readable by SafeGuard Easy. Add the missing value to the registry to solve this problem or try shortening it (at least during installation of SafeGuard Easy) if it is too long.

If environment variable “PATH” contains more than 254 characters, SGE is not able to add its registration. To install SafeGuard Easy successful, the maximum of 254 characters may not be exceeded (including the entry of SafeGuard Easy).
