I can not issue a token in the PBA although I selected "User" for the "Token issuing mode" below the general token settings. Why?

When you select "with token only" for "Token logon" then you have to make sure that every SafeGuard Easy (SGE) user must have a token with the correct SGE data on it already before the first logon.

In this mode ("with token only") you do not have the possibility to issue the token in the PBA. If you try to do this you will get the following message:

We recommend to use the general token setting "token optional" instead of it. You can then configure anyway whether the logon with token is "required" or "not required" for each user.

Please note: It also depends on the used Run Time Environment for the eToken initialization whether the SafeGuard Easy credentials can be saved on the token or not.
