Is it possible to use SafeGuard Easy Emergency Tools without a floppy drive?

Ever more notebook manufacturers have stopped providing devices with diskette disk drives or are only supplying them at an extra charge.

Since version 4.3x, the SafeGuard Easy product CD-ROM itself can be used as boot media. Verify the boot order in the BIOS of your machine (CD-ROM before hard disk), insert the SafeGuard Easy CD-ROM and restart the computer. The emergency tools will now load a version of FreeDOS directly from CD.

CD-ROMs containing the SafeGuard Easy IBM / Lenovo version are not bootable. If you have such a version, please search the knowledge database for the keywords "bootable rescue image".
