Sophos today announced that Emmanuelle Skala, vice president channel sales and operations, has been recognized as a channel innovator, leader and influencer by CRN and Channelnomics, two of the leading industry influencers. Emmanuelle was named one of UBM Tech Channel’s CRN 2013 Channel Chief, and was highlighted as Channelnomics’ “One to Watch” in the security category of their 2012 Channel Influencer Awards.
CRN’s Channel Chiefs are selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT Channel Sales. Channelnomics Channel Influencers Awards recognize the contributions and impact of vendor and solution provider executives and leaders who positively guide channel decisions and place a role in reseller buying habits.
Emmanuelle was recognized for both awards due to her continued efforts to grow and improve the Sophos Partner Program. In her current role, she has created a new solution partner track and tri-level certification programs that have expanded the reach and number of Sophos partners, helping solution providers improve their skill sets. Under Emmanuelle’s direction, Sophos has made significant investments in partner enablement and empowerment programs, including an enhanced partner portal, new global partner conferences and road shows and increased marketing development funds and rebates for partners.
