BOSTON - November 16, 2010 - Global IT security and data
protection firm Sophos today announced that Senior Security Advisor
will be presenting the latest malware threats impacting
organizations at SC World Congress Data Security
Conference and Expo the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in
Toronto, ON, Canada on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 3:15pm ET.
SC World Congress offers practical solutions, advice, and
suggestions to chief information security officers in both the
private and public sector to help them thwart cyber-attackers,
protect critical corporate and customer assets, and comply with
industry and government regulatory mandates.
Chester Wisniewski's session, titled "The Changing Threat
Landscape: 2010 and Beyond" will walk attendees through two recent
malware attacks to provide a better understanding as to how these
attacks work, the potential damage that may result in unprotected
infrastructures, and how organizations must have a security
strategy in place to combat these threats. The session will be
followed by Q&A with an IT security practitioner who will
discuss the impact of these threats and what organizations must do
moving forward to protect our digital assets. The Q&A will be
moderated by Program Director Eric Green of SC World Congress.
