Sophos announces opening of new Perth office

Sophos expands Australian operations

IT security and control firm Sophos has announced the opening of its new office in Perth, Western Australia. Centrally located in Kobolt House, West Perth, the new office will enable Sophos to meet the increasing demand in the region and build on its current client base.

Newly appointed Business Development Manager, Aaron Dousaldo, will head up the local team. With more than 18 years experience working in the IT industry, Aaron will be responsible for fostering existing business relationships and driving new sales in the emerging market.

Commenting on the recent expansion, Rob Forsyth, Managing Director, Sophos, said, "Sophos has built an extensive partnership network across Australia and we believe expanding our presence to include a Perth operation will enable us to better serve our clients in the region.

"We are seeing increased interest in computer security from businesses located on the western seaboard. With research showing that up to 97 per cent of all business email is spam, this recent spike in demand is really no surprise."
